Welcome to Yamabushi! This is a project set to build an original storyline, in an original world, with the same feel of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto!

We hope you enjoy our work and effort while sitting back and having fun!

Hello there boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen.

It has been a while since yours truly left you a message here, and for good reason too! Unfortunately, for the past few months, from September, through late November, I have been quick sick, and couldn't work on the project as hard as I have been in the past.

During that time, I was forced to take a very well deserved break, but only a few weeks into December, and I find myself one again swarmed with Yamabushi Work.

While all of you have been thinking about how the project died away into the nothing, Whisper and I have been working our butts off to get as much stuff done as possible, and the list you are about to hear about is going to leave you with your mouths open.

First off, Volume 01 I officially scripted. 200 pages of the comic, which involve chapter 1 to 4, are ready to be sketched, inked and colored. The story, I must say, is turning out brilliantly. Very breathe taking and captivating at the same time.

A promised, in these first 4 chapters, each of which are 40 pages long, also include, besides our original Yamabushi cast, characters which YOU have submitted to us!!! That's right!!! Your submitted characters are still in our thoughts, so much so, that we even decided to bump a few of those which had a "low star rating" up a few notches, just for the sake of making you all very happy! So you better keep your eyes peeled, cause you might miss your own character in the pages to come.

Also something which will knock your socks off, is our website! Yamabushi, coming January, will be launching it's own Web Page, which is already about 60% or so complete!

On this page you will find everything and anything you might want to know about the Yamabushi world. In fact, we have decided to upload the pages to the website itself once a week, so you can follow the progress and follow our story as it unfolds, instead of having to wait for the book to the published!!! Isn't that great?!

We'll also be having a forums section, were we can all interact, as well as a store, were you can buy T Shirts, Posters, Stickers and so on, were all the proceeds will go into making this project bigger and better then ever!

If that didn't leave you all !!! I don't know what will!!!

Considering Yamabushi is not actually a club, but rather a big project, we do not need members to send us a note saying "join" and so on; even though we greatly accept those notes and more often than not, we'll reply.

To "join" in the fun, all you have to do is add us to your watch list, and you will be written down as a Yamabushi Follower!


On top of that, we would appreciate it if you helped us spread the word about the Yamabushi. Maybe by adding our icon to your journal, or give us a little feature for your watchers and friends to see! Maybe they would like to get involved too! Remember, the more people that participate, the bigger the project! And that is exactly what we want! So help us out and spread the word about our work here!
